Membership Policies
4 Class Pass: £36 (valid for the advertised month, £9 per class)
5 Class Pass: £45 (valid for the advertised month, £9 per class)
Pay As You Go: £10 per class
Passes are valid from the first day of the advertised month to the last day of the same month. Unused credits expire at the end of that month.
Movement & Milestones may update pricing or pass structures with 30 days’ notice.
Payment Terms
Payments are processed securely via Stripe through Bookwhen.
Confirmation emails are sent within 24 hours of successful payment.
Failed payments may result in booking cancellation.
All payment data is handled in accordance with GDPR.
Refund & Cancellation
Class pass fees are non‑refundable once processed.
Exceptions may be made for billing errors or medical emergencies with documentation.
Families may cancel their own booking through Bookwhen up to 2 hours before the class start time.
When cancelled within this window, the credit will automatically return to their class pass.
No shows or cancellations made after the 2 hour window will result in the credit being deducted.
Free Trial Policy
Free trials are limited to one per family. Free trial bookings are intended for new customers attending their first Movement & Milestones class. Any additional free trial bookings made by returning families will be cancelled and a standard class ticket or class pass will need to be booked instead. This ensures fair access to trial spaces and helps us manage class capacity safely.
Health & Safety
By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, parents/guardians acknowledge that participation in Movement & Milestones classes involves physical activity. Parents/guardians accept responsibility for supervising their child during sessions and for disclosing any relevant medical conditions.
Parents/guardians remain fully responsible for the care, safety and wellbeing of their child throughout the session.
Movement & Milestones holds full public liability insurance; however, families agree that Movement & Milestones and its instructors are not liable for injuries, accidents or loss of property except where caused by negligence. By registering, families confirm acceptance of these terms in place of a signed liability waiver.
At booking, families must confirm whether they are 6 weeks postpartum and cleared by their GP to exercise and disclose any relevant medical information or allergies for themselves or their child.
Parents/guardians must supervise their child at all times during sessions.
All instructors hold appropriate first aid and safeguarding training suitable for parent present baby classes.
Hygiene protocols are enforced; venues are inspected regularly.
Illness Policy
Families must not attend if they or their child are unwell with a contagious illness.
Movement & Milestones reserves the right to refuse entry if symptoms are present to protect the wellbeing of all attendees.
Class Environment & Participation
Movement & Milestones classes involve gentle movement, floor based activities and sensory equipment.
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their own and their child’s safe participation, including using mats and equipment appropriately.
Safeguarding
Amanda Gibson is the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
All instructors hold Enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding training.
Any concerns are reported immediately to the DSL or Local Authority.
Movement & Milestones works in partnership with parents; families will be informed of relevant incidents and supported appropriately.
Code of Conduct
Respect and inclusion for all families.
Harassment, bullying or discrimination is prohibited.
Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 7 business days.
Data Protection
Movement & Milestones complies with GDPR for all personal data.
Data is stored securely in encrypted systems (Bookwhen, Stripe, Google Workspace).
Marketing is opt‑in only; opt‑out requests are processed within 10 business days.
Insurance
Movement & Milestones holds full public liability insurance covering all classes and venues.
Accessibility & Inclusion
Movement & Milestones is committed to inclusive practice.
Families are encouraged to share additional needs so classes can be adapted.
Photo & Media Consent
Photo/media consent is optional and managed via an opt‑in option on attendee details.
Consent can be withdrawn at any time; new uses of withdrawn images will cease within 10 business days.
Movement & Milestones may repost publicly available social media content where families have tagged our account. Families who do not wish their content to be reshared should notify us directly.
Complaints & Feedback
Complaints can be submitted via email, phone, or portal.
Acknowledged within 24 hours; a resolution plan provided within 7 business days.
Escalation is available if unresolved.
Disclaimer & Policies
By attending a Movement & Milestones class, you acknowledge and agree that Movement & Milestones shall not be held liable for any misconduct, negligence, or wrongdoing by participants or third parties. Attendance signifies your agreement to follow all Movement & Milestones policies. Copies of these policies are available upon request by emailing hello@movementandmilestones.co.uk.
